TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Double
Elimination
The
first wrestler to score three takedowns or the wrestler with the most taked=
owns
at the end of one 2 minute period will be declared the winner. If the wrestlers are tied at the e=
nd of
regulation a sudden victory period will be wrestled. In the sudden victory period only =
the
first wrestler to secure a takedown or to force their opponent out of bound=
s by
push out will be declared the winner.
Throughout the match each wrestler may receive one stalling warning.=
Subsequent stalling calls count as=
a
takedown for the opponent.
Medals
will be awarded to the top 4 finishers in each weight class.
